About Us
The word "kaiju" usually refers to giant monsters, especially those depicted in films. As Japanese-American queer folx, we snack on being thought of as monstrous. We love kaiju. We are (Q)aiju.
Our philosophy is that businesses can thrive without exploiting workers or customers, that profit shouldn't exceed a living wage, and that art should be accessible. We promise to keep prices affordable, to never charge extra for different sizes of clothing, and that the art you see was made by us without AI.

(Q)aiju is a family-owned and operated small business. We are a queer family that navigates neurodiversity, deafness, and chronic pain. And we're not upset about it!
